Bait finesse machine with strong aluminum body
New standard bait finesse machine that can be used not only in freshwater but also in saltwater
ALPHAS is finally reborn with the TWS system. Equipped with a small diameter φ28mm G1 duralumin AIR spool to achieve a new dimension of finesse performance. Salt-compatible specifications that enable bait finesse games in salt as well as trout in mountain streams as well as bass. The body is composed of a full aluminum housing and was developed assuming various light game fishing.
■ TWS (T-WING SYSTEM)
A structure in which the T shape level wind rotates half a turn back and forth depending on whether the clutch is ON or OFF. When casting, the level wind rotates forward and the line is smoothly released through the wide part of the T shape level wind. When retrieving, the level wind rotates backward and the line is guided to the groove at the bottom of the level wind and wound tightly and parallel. Daiwa’s unique level wind system achieves both line release performance and trouble-free performance.
■ UTD [ULTIMATE TOURNAMENT DRAG]
Drag Eliminates the initial bite at the beginning of the effect, and has the maximum drag force that works as you tighten while achieving smoothness without stick (unevenness).
■ Air brake system
A brake system that achieves stress-free usability with extremely little backlash while greatly improving accuracy performance. The combination of a lightweight induct rotor structure and a lightweight spool greatly improves the rotation response as a spool unit. At the same time, the setting aims for a synergistic effect with the effective mag brake with clear on and off, and the brake works well at full cast, but at low rotation such as pitching, the induct rotor does not pop out and you can shoot with a low trajectory. In other words, even with a small amount of force, the spool rises quickly, the lure flies surprisingly well without force, and on the contrary, the backlash zone that occurs due to force is properly braked. As a result, with the same brake setting, pitching and casting brought about a high level of comfort.
■ Extreme finesse ultra-small caliber spool Φ28mm AIR spool
Extreme Finesse.
Exclusive AIR spool for ultimate finesse performance.
■ Zero shaft
The spool is only supported by BB. Shaftless eliminates extra resistance and provides ideal spool rotation. In other words, it is the key to a high-power engine that prioritizes casting performance. The spool mechanism, which was once called the speed shaft, was renamed to “Zero Shaft” in 2021.
■ Zero adjuster
First, by adjusting the “zero adjuster” and setting the “spool backlash zero”, the evolution of the magnet brake has made it possible to control all lures with only the mag dial. “Zero adjuster” is a mechanism to enjoy fishing comfortably without malfunction during fishing by adjusting to “zero setting” before starting fishing.
* The “zero backlash” setting is a setting that does not push the spool while leaving a slight backlash (about 0.2 mm).

* The displayed winding amount in this table is the upper limit. We recommend that you do not wind any line more than 45m.
*The winding length is the length per rotation of the handle.
* The amount of winding thread is a guideline and varies depending on the manufacturer, item, and tension.
