TECHNOLOGY
MAGSEALED
A waterproof structure that shuts out the intrusion of seawater and dust by creating a magnetic oil wall in the gap between the MAGSEALED body and the rotor. Since the body and rotor are non-contact, the initial rotation performance is maintained for a long time while maintaining a light and smooth rotation. Most causes of abnormal rotation noise are intrusion of salt shavings and foreign substances. Of course, there are cases where it is accidentally dropped into water, but except for such cases, the rotation noise generation rate of the mag-shielded reel is significantly reduced. Moreover, this ratio appears in the data as a large difference as time passes after the appearance of Magsealed. This means that the longer you use it, the more effective it will be. In other words, it proves that the dustproof and waterproof ability of Magsealed is at a very high level. It is used in the main shaft of CALDIA SW.
Full Metal (AL) Monocoque Body
Conventionally, spinning reels generally support both ends of the drive gear with the body and body cover, and fix them with several screws. From this structure, aiming to further improve accuracy and rigidity, the monocoque body is fixed by eliminating the body cover and screwing a high-precision plate directly into the body. As a result, the support accuracy of the gear is improved, and the rigidity and airtightness are also improved. Furthermore, we have succeeded in expanding the size of the drive gear to the utmost limit by utilizing the space that was conventionally taken up by the screw. The Monocoque body means MONO (one) --COQUE (shell). The all-new shape, which symbolizes the toughness of a single shell, breaks the conventional wisdom of reel construction. In CALDIA SW, considering the lightness against the background of its sufficient rigidity, the optimum best balance is realized by looking at the target in each reel size.
ATD
A new generation drag system that works smoothly according to the pull of fish and continues to work smoothly. For large spinning, it is a setting that suppresses the decrease in drag force during fighting. Both were developed with the goal of being able to concentrate on fighting without worrying about drag settings. CALDIA SW has 4000 to 14000: 3 and 18000: 5 drag washers (carbon) to improve drag MAX and thoroughly pursue durability to withstand the sprinting of large fish. In addition, a large drag knob is used, and the knob is large to realize comfortable operation.
■ Tough Digigear
The Trinity element (design concept, processing technology, gear material) is indispensable for the drive gear, which is the most important part of the Tough Digigear. 22 CALDIA SW is a further evolution of DigiGear II, adopting "Tough DigiGear" that keeps smooth rotation for a longer time. ■ Air Rotor
An air rotor with a structure that can be called a revolution. The optimum rim structure with a unique shape distributes the load, achieving significant weight reduction with the same strength. The rotor balance has also been improved, achieving a light rotation with good response.
■ LC-ABS (Longcast-ABS)
While keeping the idea of reducing the contact resistance of ABSII, the contact is pushed forward to achieve smoother line emission. The effect of the ring part protruding forward makes it difficult to get on the line, improving the flight distance by about 5% and trouble-free compared to the conventional ABS II. It is a next-generation ABS spool that realizes LC (LONG CAST).
■ Handle knob
<4000-6000>
The handle knob is compatible with S size. EVA round type power light knob L is adopted for 4000/6000 size, which is mainly for shore casting, light-oriented offshore jigging, and light-oriented offshore jigging & casting.
<8000-18000> The handle knob is compatible with L size. Offshore jigging and casting aimed at big players For 8000 to 18000 sizes, which are mainly used for shore casting, EVA large round knobs are used.
■ Air Bail
The shape of the bail that allows the line to flow to the line roller greatly reduces thread entanglement problems. Furthermore, the hollow structure realizes a significant increase in strength without changing the weight.
■ Rotor Brake
A mechanism that brakes the rotation of the rotor when the bail is open to prevent the bail from returning unexpectedly due to the handle moving due to the shock during casting.
■ Manual Return
A manual return mechanism is used to completely prevent the bail from returning during casting and to improve durability, so that the bail does not return when the handle is rotated. (6000-18000)
■ Stopperless body
The body structure is simply finished by removing the stopper. By deciding to remove the stopper, which is the intrusion route of water and foreign matter, not only the weight reduction and waterproof performance are improved, but also the unfortunate of sudden troubles in the harsh environment required for 22 CALDIA SW and the interaction with big things is minimized.
